Hindi pa rin kayo naduduling...

I told you I'd find your doppelgängers...

First we have my dearest Banana whom I love so dearly:

Then we have my favorite Lolabetlog... whose doppelgänger unfortunately cannot be completely revealed since this blog is PG-13:

And last but not least, the newest addition to our blogging kuh-raaay-zee-ness... Lauro aka. Dr. Evil (in Tagalog, Doktor Masamang Iniisip)

Hee hee :D

*EDIT*

At the request of lola and the rest of the world, here's what we all want to see:

Plans

I like to scribble. I like to write notes. Thoughts. Plans. Grocery lists. To do lists. To bring lists. Whatever. Whenever. They are usually illegible to anyone other than myself, and I'd like to keep it that way. If you can decipher the notes I write, then kudos to you.

It's been a while since I've scribbled. And I've got good reason to scribble again. There are things to see and places to go that I want to experience with you. Scribbling messily ironically clears things up for me. The future looks bright on this cold and rainy day. My mornings spent recovering from hangovers caused by my sweet sweet dreams. Isang buwan na lang, babe.

I don't normally look forward to my birthday, nor do I usually celebrate it in a big way. Last year, I remember being at the office until 7:30pm and being pissed at my officemates for leaving me there with that workload. Assholes. The year before that, I was slightly depressed, and I stayed home and slept in. The year before that, I just had sushi for dinner with my parents. The last time I "partied" was in 2002, when I threw a party for the first (and last) time.

This year will be different. It doesn't matter where we go or what we do, basta kasama kita, masaya na ako. I'll have to borrow a quote from you: "OK na ako sa McDo." That does remind me though of this one birthday... I think it was my 9th or 10th birthday. We ate lunch at the McDonalds at Harrison Plaza. I was so happy. It's funny... when you're a kid, these small things make you so unbelievably happy. Diba? Like when your mom surprises you with a pink Mickey Mouse watch. Happiness. I want to take that feeling back. I know it might be a bit late to start New Year's resolutions, but why not start anyway? So I propose for everyone to find happiness in tiny everyday things like:

- The kumot that keeps you warm as you sleep at night.
- The seat you're sitting in. Is it comfortable? Yes? Savour it.
- Taking a nice hot shower.
- Singing along to a good song.
- Discovering new (or old) good music.
- Morning coffee.
- Anticipation.
- When your phone rings and it's <3

*Smile*

Who here used to read Archie comics?

*raises hand*

Remember these cheesy ads? It worked though... I always wondered what a Twinkie tasted like. I finally got to try one a few years ago. I did not like it. Oh well, the comics were funny.

wtf?!

I was going to post something else, but after reading this while surfing around the 'net earlier, I couldn't help but crack up. I have to share this with you:

"Deeper Understanding of the Universe | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/9/08

I really miss my gerbil fluff-puff. It wasn't too long ago that I was playing door basketball, when I got frustrated and threw him really hard at the wall. It was so sad. I cherish those moments I had with him. I miss you, fluff puff."

Hindi kayo naduduling...

On the way to work this morning, I crossed paths with a man who looked exactly like one of my classmates from high school. The resemblance was uncanny. But I'm sure it wasn't him since my former classmate is still in Canada; he's one of my friends on Facebook.

It made me think... do we all have a doppelgänger?

Hot dawg, I think I found mine!

My dears... I'll find yours soon and post them here too. Just you wait. :D

I fell out of my seat for this one...

Is spontaneous human combustion possible?

I think so.

All you need to say is, "Wait lang, don't move."

Random thoughts as we kick off 2009

I felt the loneliness slowly settle in as the plane inched towards the Eternal City.

Unfortunately, Jollibee delivery doesn't go all the way here. A Chickenjoy meal would hit the spot right now.

Mom's made a good point when she said, "Anak, remember... you can come home anytime."

The last words my dad said to me before I left Manila still echo in my head... I can't believe he said that. He usually avoids topics like that. It was shocking... in a good way. Those words will remain a secret... for now. :)

I'm really thankful for all my friends, new and old, who came out to see me while I was in Manila.

I'm especially thankful that I was able to spend a lot of time with my family last month. I also spent Christmas and New Year's with the people I love, complete with a fireworks display that was a first for me. <3

My heart is being tugged in different directions by feelings of sadness, anticipation, hope, missing you, past, present, future, loss, confusion, understanding, epiphanies, apathy, hunger, stress, happiness, love, and more as I look longingly at the computer screen.

If I stare at this map long enough, will it blink? :)
