"Would you like it if I called you Manila???"
Russell Peters is a funny man. And he's Canadian. The part about Filipinos is so true.
It reminds me of this story my brother told me. It was years ago in elementary school when he was on the school bus. They were at a stop light. A stereotypical Indian guy on a motorcycle stopped next to them. This prompted the kids on the bus to yell out "Bumbay! Bumbay! Hahahahah! Bumbay!" which is absolutely ridiculous, but you know how kids are. What I found hilarious was his response:
"WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF I CALLED YOU MANILA?! MANILA MANILA MANILA!!!"

Ang taray ng lolo mong bumbay. Sumakit ang bangs ko sa response niya. Hahaha.
Ok lang sa akin to be called Manila. Ano naman, diba? :p
Manila is a nice name. My sister's Canadian friend used to use "Manila" as a pseudonym when ugly guys tried to pick her up at a club.
Smart girl. I use Amihan naman whenever I cross paths with idiotic people in clubs. Works every time.
